Am getting ready to enjoy the weekend, done with work, thought I'd share a poem from Kali, who was about 7 at the time (almost 16 now!), so here's words of wisdom on simple pleasures!
Sweet, Sweet, Summer

I like the times in Summer
where you could ride your bike all day
Stay home and watch t.v.
or even laugh and play
You could play soccer in the rain
or play baseball every day
Go visit Grandma and Grandpa
go play in the sand I'd say
I like the sun so brightly shining
and climbing Mount Tallac
eating cornflakes in the morning
and candy in a sack
