Bob took me on a date the other night - great restaurant, wonderful view of the bay at sunset - all the prerequisites for a special night! Since Bob's been in food & beverage for over 30 years, you never know whether the food or service will measure up in his eyes when we go out to dinner. Well, I think Hawaii has definitely mellowed out my "Type A" personality husband - what does he order to go with his lobster & shrimp meal? A Mango "Slurpee"! Silly guy - he meant to say smoothie - but "slurpee" just slipped out (twice!)- the waitress seemed a little dumbfounded. So be sure to enjoy a mango slurpee if you ever come to Kona - especially when you're all dressed up and going out for a fancy meal!
